First Yardsale of the New Year

I accidently found my first yardsale of 2009. I was on my way somewhere yesterday when I spotted a yardsale sign. It was 11:30 so I wasn't expecting to find anything great. I spent a total of $14. Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker was $5, Jack LaLanne Juicer (for ebay) was $5, a $3 glass swirly bowl and a $1 Good Charlotte CD that I didn't have. Sorry the pic isn't too great. Disregard the Diet Coke.

a $1 Good Charlotte CD??? I'm obsessed with GC, I have been for like 6 years! Do you like them as well?

Calla - yes, I'm a GC fan. They are originally from a town about 50 miles away (Waldorf MD - from the song Waldorf Worldwide). Back when Joel was dating Hilary Duff he brought her to Maryland to show her the area. I didn't see them, but we heard all about what restaurants etc they ate at. (one restaurant is near the Vintage Value store I shop at).

Regina - I usually drink Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi by the gallon...oops I mean 2-liters, than by the can. But you always have to have some cans around too.

Regina - I actually traveled with 5 12-packs from Maryland to NY and back. The day I left for NY, I stopped at the grocery store for some great sale items and ended up also buying 5 12-packs for $12.

Plus, it would have come in handy if, god forbid, I ran off the road and was stranded in a ditch for days. I couldn't have lived without my caffeine fix

Hi, I found your other yard sale site through MSN search and then saw that you have this blog. What a great idea! I really love it. Matt.

The Diet Coke makes me laugh! My Mom does the same thing wherever she goes. So do I, but with water. Coke gives me the shakes.

You should be able to get some money for the Jack LaLane juicer. Those things are expensive!
