Saturday's Yard Sale Buys

Here's the stuff I bought on Saturday. In the picture I forgot to include a $5 Longaberger teapot. And in the video, I forgot to mention that I paid .50 for the Santa - which is called a Smoker Santa. You put an incense cone on a little tray inside Santa and I guess it will look like smoke is coming out of his mouth. I will probably put it on ebay eventually. And the Clarks shoes are a little too small, so I will probably ebay those too.

Other than your ebay stuff, do you keep most everything you find at yard sales around the house? I like a lot of your finds, a lot are good. Actually, I *adore* thrifting and yardsaling, but I also have a severe penchant for decluttering. So yep... Just wondering if you find use for everything you bring home and if not, what do you do with it?

I keep, resell, giveaway and clutter up my house with stuff. I don't mind a bit of clutter here and there...and everywhere.

I do try to "upgrade" my possessions with yardsale buys - replaced the hallway mirror with a nicer one (and yardsaled the old one) etc

I had the Lonely Doll book when I was a kids. I remember hating the book. I think the doll scared me or something, but the crazy thing is I still have that stupid book hidden away in a box. Why I have a book I am scared of I don't know, but it still haunts me looking at it. I don't think I could even bring myself to open it, if I did uncover it again.

The time I choose to go to a yard sale depends on my needs and what items are for sale. I always like going not too late or not too early as the people who organized the sale may not be prepared yet or if you go too late, the items you want may have already been sold.
