I'm Chris and I am addicted to yard sales, garage sales, thrift stores and bargain hunting in general. Visit my site yardsalequeen.com - which I started in 1996. "Smile" and "VV" (Vintage Value) are the names of two thrift stores I regularly shop at. I grew up in Clifton Park NY but now live in Lusby, MD. I also lived in other exciting locales such as Schenectady, Watervliet (NY), and Charleston, SC.

Lladro, Peugeot and Super Nintendo
Here's a few things I bought this morning. All a buck each. A dust collector Lladro figurine (I found out it's name is Puppy Present), a salt grinder (the only reason why I bought it was because I saw it was a brand name Peugeot and may be worth more than a dollar) and a Super Nintendo game system (minus all the cords & controllers). I figure I can take it to Play N Trade for a credit.
I bought some other things, but got some other stuff I have to do today so I just wanted to make a quick post.
Hey Chris...just in csse you list the figurine, it is actually spelled "Lladro". Very cute!
ReplyDeleteFor pete's sake, I cannot even spell case...sorry!
ReplyDeleteA buck for a Lladro..........the find of the year!!!!! Susan C.
ReplyDeleteHave you gone through your library card, credit cards etc? By the way, I have had holes worn in the lining of my purse and had stuff slip into there. Found cards I had used as bookmarks and cards in with my postage stamps and coupons.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lladro spelling correction, i knew that's how its spelled but I was in a hurry when i blogged.
