SoyJoy - so bad

The other week in the paper there was a coupon for a free SoyJoy energy bar (or whatever it is). If I didn't have the free coupon, it would have cost $1.29. I don't think I would even pay .29 for one. Looks appetizing doesn't it - tastes just like how a little hard brown brick should taste.

  1. I bought (well technically I was paid to take them) 23 of these at CVS several days ago. The first time I tried these is when Soy Joy was sending three free bars to people via their website, I thought they were AWFUL. I've eaten two of the ones I got at CVS and although I wouldn't call them good I think I'm going to be able to eat them :)

  2. Thanks for the heads up. I too have a stack of the free coupons and was going to redeem them this weekend.

  3. Okay, call me 'tasteless'... I adore these 'nasty-looking-bricks'!! Anybody doesn't want their coupons, let me know & I will buy them off of you! THANKS - Sue (svelteSTUFF)

  4. Before I read what it was, I thought it looked like a piece of wood! Ha!

  5. I too have tried these tasteless pieces of wood. The only "joy" I got out of the experience was realizing I never had to eat them again!

  6. These are the worst things ever! I do not see these being around long! I have to wonder what kind of market research and product testing this company did before releasing this product. I got 4 free ones at CVS and got paid $4 to take them.
